Terms of Service
These terms govern the Reviews app and website. They also explain the limits of product scores, health context, reviews, subscriptions, and product information.

Reviews scores, rankings, summaries, swaps, warnings, and scan results are not medical, nutrition, allergy, diet, diagnosis, treatment, safety, recall, legal, or professional advice. Always read the physical product label before buying or using a product, especially if you have allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, pregnancy-related needs, or medication interactions.
These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Reviews. By accessing or using the Reviews app, reviewsapp.com, product pages, scan features, rankings, reviews, support forms, or related services, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Reviews.
Reviews provides product information tools, including barcode scanning, product pages, Reviews Scores, Health Scores, ingredient and nutrition context, category rankings, pantry saves, product reviews, search, trending products, better-pick suggestions, and related app or website features.
Product data may come from product labels, barcode scans, images, public databases, licensed databases, user submissions, product manufacturers, retailers, AI-assisted extraction, human review, and internal scoring systems. Product data can be incomplete, delayed, outdated, mismatched, or wrong.
Reviews is a decision-support tool, not the final decision maker. You are responsible for deciding whether a product is appropriate for you or anyone else. Do not rely on Reviews as your only source of truth.
Reviews does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any disease or health condition. Reviews does not provide personalized medical advice, nutrition plans, allergy advice, supplement advice, skincare advice, household safety advice, or emergency guidance.
Health Scores and ingredient explanations are based on available product evidence and scoring assumptions. A higher score does not mean a product is safe, healthy, allergy-safe, gluten-free, appropriate for a medical condition, appropriate during pregnancy, appropriate for children, appropriate for pets, or right for your personal needs. A lower score does not mean a product is unsafe or prohibited.
Reviews may show ingredient, allergen, gluten, dye, seed oil, preservative, fragrance, supplement, or other product signals when available. These signals can be missing or incorrect. Product formulas, suppliers, facilities, cross-contact risk, label statements, and recalls can change without notice.
If you have a food allergy, intolerance, celiac disease, skin sensitivity, chemical sensitivity, medical restriction, or religious or ethical dietary restriction, do not rely on Reviews alone. Read the package, contact the manufacturer, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
Reviews may allow users to submit ratings, review text, likes, and other content. Verified review flows may require scanning a matching barcode before leaving a review. Verification means the scan matched a product identifier; it does not prove purchase, safe use, identity, expertise, medical accuracy, or absence of bias.
You are responsible for content you submit. Do not submit unlawful, misleading, defamatory, abusive, private, infringing, promotional, paid, fake, medical, emergency, or personally sensitive content. Do not submit someone else's personal information without permission. We may remove, edit, refuse, rank, demote, or moderate user content.
By submitting content, you grant Reviews a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, distribute, modify for formatting, analyze, moderate, and use that content to operate and improve Reviews.
You may need an account to sync pantry, history, reviews, subscriptions, and preferences. You are responsible for your account, device security, and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Reviews may offer free and paid features. Subscription terms, trial length, renewal period, price, and cancellation details are shown at purchase. Purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple, and cancellation or refund requests may need to be managed through your Apple account. Reviews may use RevenueCat or similar providers to verify entitlements and restore purchases.
If a trial or promotional offer is available, eligibility may be limited. Paid features can change over time. Taxes, currency conversion, and platform fees may apply.
Reviews, including our app, website, designs, logos, scores, rankings, databases, software, copy, and related intellectual property, is owned by Reviews or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may use Reviews only as allowed by these terms.
Reviews depends on third-party services such as app stores, authentication providers, payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics, product data providers, AI processors, and email providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, products, labels, retailers, manufacturers, prices, availability, claims, recalls, or websites.
If you believe a product page, score, image, ingredient, review, ranking, or claim is inaccurate, contact support@reviewsapp.com or use the support page. We may review and correct information, but we do not guarantee a specific correction timeline or outcome.
Reviews may change, pause, remove, limit, or discontinue features, scores, pages, subscriptions, or data sources at any time. We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Reviews is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Reviews disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, availability, and security. We do not guarantee that scores, product data, reviews, images, rankings, recommendations, or scan results are complete, current, reliable, safe, or error-free.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Reviews and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for damages arising from product choices, health decisions, allergic reactions, label errors, product defects, recalls, third-party products, or reliance on Reviews. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Reviews in the three months before the claim or $100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Reviews harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of Reviews, your content, your product decisions, your violation of these terms, or your violation of law or another person's rights.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@reviewsapp.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Reviews is principally operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of these terms may not apply to you.
